Turkish rebar spot prices follow diverse trends

Rebar spot prices in Turkey’s Iskenderun and Karabuk regions have moved down by TRY 8-9/mt today, January 7, due to poor demand. In the meantime, rebar spot prices in the Izmir and Marmara regions have inched up by the same amount, following some rebar sales concluded and reported yesterday, on January 6. However, overall rebar demand in Turkey remains weak.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
