SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export at $740-750/mt FOB on actual weight basis for April shipments to Europe.

Turkish producers have been trying to reach the price level $750/mt FOB in their export offers to Europe following the sale in the past week of a number of cargoes totaling around 150,000 tons of rebar to the USA at a price level equivalent to $750/mt FOB and above on actual weight basis. On the other hand, some producers have been offering rebars to Middle East countries such as Syria, Lebanon and Israel at slightly below the price level in question.
