Today, September 17, official wire rod prices in Turkey have remained stable over the past week against the backdrop of sluggish demand.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $540-555/mt ex-works, also stable over the same period, for cash payment and for serious buyers only.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its official wire rod price at $560/mt ex-works today.
Most buyers are exerting pressure for discounts due to the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment.
