Turkish official domestic wire rod prices mostly fall

Over the past two weeks, official wire rod prices in Turkey have mostly fallen by $10/mt, except in the Thrace region, amid sluggish demand.

According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are at around $550-565/mt, depending on the region.

One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its wire rod price at $570/mt ex-works today, January 27.

The above prices, which are on actual weight basis, exclude 20 percent VAT and are on ex-works basis. The offers may differ depending on the buyers and order sizes.
