Over the past week, Turkish merchant bar producers have kept their prices stable in the local currency, while their prices on US dollar basis have declined by $3/mt due to the ongoing currency fluctuations. One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its equal angle price at TRY 22,500/mt ($585/mt) ex-works today, April 29, also down by $3/mt, over the same period.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in late May-early June or from stocks, depending on the size.
