Turkish integrated steel mill Kardemir has closed its domestic wire rod sales prices as of today, December 16, having opened its sales of 5.5 mm 1008-1010 grade wire rod at TRY 2,820/mt ($486/mt) ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT, on December 11. Kardemir’s sales price today was at TRY 2,820/mt ($483/mt), down $3/mt on dollar basis due to fluctuation of the exchange rate, while the tonnages sold have been disclosed.
