Turkish mill Kardemir announces new domestic rebar sales prices

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has revised its domestic rebar sales prices which were announced on September 27. Accordingly, Kardemir has opened its domestic sales for rebar at the level of TRY 2,865 TRY/mt ($494/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, for 1,000 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral. Compared to the price list issued on September 27, the producer's rebar prices have decreased by TRY 315/mt and prices on US dollar basis have moved down by $25/mt due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate.
