Today, January 13, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its 12-32 mm domestic rebar price by TRY 59/mt to TRY 2,644/mt ex-works Biga as compared to the offers seen in the market late last week. On US dollar basis, the supplier’s price has dropped by $9/mt over the past week to $451/mt ex-works. According to sources, sluggish demand and the stronger local currency are the main reasons for the downward price revisions by Icdas. Prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
