Today, February 18, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 50/mt to TRY 5,120/mt ex-works amid costlier scrap and currency fluctuations. The US dollar equivalent of the offer has risen by $10/mt to $620/mt ex-works today. Meanwhile, the steelmaker has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 5,910/mt ($715/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 10/mt ($5/mt).
Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
