Turkish mill Icdas revises its long prices to offset currency fluctuations

Today, November 3, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 30/mt to TRY 4,590/mt ex-works, while its wire rod price has increased by TRY 30/mt to TRY 5,390/mt ex-works. However, due to currency fluctuations, on US dollar-basis, the rebar price has remained unchanged at $460/mt ex-works, while the wire rod price has dropped by $1/mt to $540/mt ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 8.46
