Turkish mill Icdas raises its longs prices in local currency

Today, May 28, Turkish steel producer Icdas has moved up its local rebar price by TRY 150/mt compared to the beginning of this week to TRY 7,580/mt ex-works, to offset currency fluctuations.

The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,485/mt ex-works, up by TRY 155/mt over the same period. The producers’ rebar and wire rod prices on US dollar basis have remained unchanged at $750/mt and $840/mt ex-works respectively since the beginning of this week.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
