Today, November 18, Turkish mill Icdas has kept its domestic rebar price in the local currency unchanged at TRY 4,570/mt ($500/mt) ex-works, while its dollar-based rebar quotations have increased by $1/mt due to the slight change in the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate. Meanwhile, the steelmaker’s wire rod price prices have also moved sideways on lira basis, or have increased by $1/mt on dollar basis since yesterday, and are currently at TRY 5,250/mt ($576/mt) ex-works.
