Turkish mill Icdas increases its longs prices sharply

Today, February 26, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 190/mt to TRY 5,630/mt ex-works amid stronger scrap prices and currency fluctuations. The US dollar equivalent of the offer has risen by $13/mt to $652/mt ex-works. Meanwhile, the steelmaker has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 6,330/mt ($733/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 210/mt ($14/mt) on the same day.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
