Turkish mill Icdas increases its longs prices sharply

Today, December 21, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 80/mt to TRY 5,650/mt ($620/mt) ex-works from last week,  while its rebar price on US dollar basis is up by $20/mt, amid stronger scrap prices and currency fluctuations. Meanwhile, the steelmaker’s wire rod price has also risen, by TRY 110/mt ($25/mt) to TRY 6,560 /mt ($720/mt) ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
