Turkish mill Icdas increases its long prices sharply

Today, October 26 Turkish mill Icdas has hiked its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 90/mt to TRY 4,370/mt ex-works and its domestic wire rod prices by TRY 60/mt to TRY 5,140/mt ($541/mt) ex-works compared to Thursday, October 22, aiming to offset currency fluctuations and stronger scrap prices. At the same time, the producer’s rebar price on US dollar basis has risen by $4/mt to $460/mt, while its wire rod price has remained unchanged on US dollar basis.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
