Turkish mill Icdas increases its long prices in local currency

Today, December 1, Turkish mill Icdas has hiked its domestic rebar price by TRY 80/mt to TRY 5,000/mt ($536/mt) ex-works, while its rebar price on US dollar basis has dropped by $2/mt, amid currency fluctuations. Meanwhile, the steelmaker’s wire rod price price in liras has also risen, moving up by TRY 50/mt to TRY 5,690/mt ($610/mt) ex-works, with its wire rod price on US dollar basis dropping by $7/mt. The producer has also revised its surcharge for smaller diameters. Accordingly, TRY 30/mt and TRY 60/mt will be added to prices of 12 mm and 8 mm rebar, respectively.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
