Turkish mill Icdas cuts longs prices slightly on lira basis

Today, December 29, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 40/mt to TRY 5,610/mt ($642/mt) ex-works compared to Monday, December 21,  while its rebar price on US dollar basis is up by $22/mt, amid currency fluctuations. Meanwhile, the steelmaker’s wire rod price has also fallen, by TRY 60/mt to TRY 6,500/mt ($743/mt) ex-works, with the US dollar prices up $23/mt over the same period.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
