Turkish mill Icdas cuts its long steel prices

Today, January 25, Turkish mill Icdas has cut its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 150/mt to TRY 5,520/mt ($632/mt) ex-works, while its rebar price on US dollar basis has dropped by $13/mt compared to Monday, January 11, against the backdrop of currency fluctuations and weaker scrap prices. Meanwhile, the steelmaker has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 6,350/mt ($727/mt) ex-works, with the US dollar price down $14/mt over the same period.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
