Turkish mill Icdas cuts its local long steel prices significantly

Today, January 27, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its domestic rebar price in the local currency by TRY 130/mt to TRY 5,390/mt ($621/mt) ex-works, while its rebar price on US dollar basis has dropped by $11/mt compared to Monday, January 25, against the backdrop of weaker scrap prices. Meanwhile, the steelmaker has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 6,250/mt ($720/mt) ex-works, with the US dollar price down $7/mt over the same period.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
