Over the past two weeks, Turkish merchant bar export offers have continued to move down, while demand for Turkish merchant bar in the export markets has remained at low levels. Buyers in Turkish exporters' target markets are still postponing their purchases of Turkish merchant bar as they believe that prices have yet to hit the bottom.
Turkish merchant bar export prices have decreased by $30/mt in the period in question to the following levels:
