Today, October 18, Turkish integrated mill Kardemir has revised its dollar-based wire rod prices. Accordingly, Kardemir’s price for 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade wire rod is currently available at $850/mt ex-works, while its 6-56 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at $825/mt ex-works. The supplier has increased its wire rod prices by $15/mt compared to its previous announcement on Thursday, October 14, amid costlier scrap.
Wire rod prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
