Today, September 1, Turkish mill Kardemir has increased its prices of engineering grade wire rod products mainly by $20/mt compared to its previous list dated Tuesday, August 23, against the backdrop of the costlier energy costs and rapid currency fluctuations. It is worthmentioning that only 16MnCr5 grade prices have increased by $180/mt over the same period.

The producer has issued its list prices only on US dollar basis, for cash payment, on ex-works basis.
