Today, January 25, Turkish integrated mill Kardemir has kept its wire rod prices stable depending on product size, compared to Wednesday, January 18.
Accordingly, Kardemir’s price for 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade wire rod is standing at $725/mt ex-works, while its 6-27 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at $710/mt ex-works. In addition, 28-56 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at $735/mt ex-works.
Kardemir’s 6-27 mm wire rod is on the lower end of the official general price range for the same specifications in Turkey which varies at $710-740/mt ex-works.
Wire rod prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
