Today, December 19, Turkish mill Kardemir has mostly cut its wire rod prices for engineering grade products by $50/mt amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand, as compared to its prices issued on Wednesday, November 13, while cutting its 5,5 mm and 6-27 mm SAE 1006 grade wire rod by $35/mt and 5,5 mm 20MnB4-30MnB4 grade wire rod by $60/mt respectively.
The producer has issued its list prices only on US dollar basis, for cash payment, on ex-works basis.
