Turkey’s Kardemir issues its merchant bar prices

Today, March 31, Turkish mill Kardemir has increased its merchant bar prices slightly amid the import scrap and billet price trend seen since the beginning of the month. Sources report that there is a lack of support from demand at present. Kardemir has succeeded in selling around 10,000-15,000 mt for now, SteelOrbis has heard. The list prices are shown below.

The producer has announced its merchant bar prices on US dollar basis, raising them by $5/mt, compared to its previous price list on Wednesday, March 1.
