Today, October 7, Turkish mill Kardemir has opened its local sales for specific wire rod grades, i.e., for engineering grade products as opposed to low-carbon grade wire rod, as per the list below. The producer has issued its list price only on US dollar basis and for cash payment, on ex-works basis. The producer’s wire rod prices have indicated an increase of $15-25/mt compared to the company’s previous list dated Thursday, August 26.
