Turkey’s Kardemir increases its wire rod price further

Today, July 7, Turkish integrated mill Kardemir has increased its dollar-based wire rod prices by $30/mt amid higher import scrap prices.

Accordingly, Kardemir’s price for 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade wire rod is currently at $790/mt ex-works, while its 6-27 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at $750/mt ex-works. In addition, 28-56 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at $775/mt ex-works.

Wire rod prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
