Turkey’s Kardemir adjusts its wire rod prices amid costlier scrap

Today, October 11, Turkish integrated mill Kardemir has increased its wire rod sales prices by $15/mt. Accordingly, Kardemir’s price for 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade wire rod now stands at $815/mt ex-works, while its 6-56 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at $790/mt ex-works. The producer’s wire rod sales have remained open since Thursday, October 7.

Wire rod prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
