Turkey’s Icdas revises its longs prices to offset currency fluctuations

Today, November 19, Turkish mill Icdas has raised its rebar price by TRY 440/mt to TRY 9,690/mt ($750/mt) ex-works in the last two days, amid rapid currency fluctuations. The exchange rate was at $1 = TRY 10.45 on Wednesday, November 17.

The supplier has also issued its official wire rod price at TRY 10,980/mt ($850/mt) ex-works today, up by TRY 500/mt over the same period. The producer has kept its dollar-based prices stable.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 10.95
