Turkey’s Icdas revises its longs prices to offset currency fluctuations

Today, June 15, Turkish steel producer Icdas has increased its local rebar price by TRY 160/mt to TRY 7,360/mt ex-works to offset currency fluctuations. The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,360/mt ex-works, up by TRY 170/mt.

On US dollar basis, Icdas’ local offers for rebar and wire rod have remained stable at $730/mt and $830/mt, respectively, both on ex-works basis.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
