Turkey’s Icdas revises its longs price as week begins

Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has cut its longs prices in the local currency due to the fragile economic situation in the country. The mill has today cut its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 445/mt to TRY 14,525/mt ($650/mt) ex-works. The supplier has also decreased its wire rod price by TRY 435/mt to TRY 14,750/mt ($660/mt) ex-works. Both longs prices include nine percent VAT. The mill has set its own exchange rate at $1 = TRY 20.50.
