Turkey’s Icdas revises its dollar-based longs prices after a long break

Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has increased its longs prices in the local currency against the backdrop of the relatively negative sentiment in the import scrap segment. The mill has raised its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 1,260/mt to TRY 16,510/mt ($640/mt) ex-works compared to June 6. The supplier has also raised its wire rod price by TRY 1,290/mt to TRY 16,770/mt ($650/mt) ex-works. Both long product prices include nine percent VAT and are down by $10/mt on US dollar basis over the same period.
