Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has increased its longs prices, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and costlier import scrap, as compared to Monday, November 13. The mill has increased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 130/mt to TRY 18,380/mt ($580/mt) ex-works, while the price on US dollar basis has remained unchanged. The supplier has also increased its wire rod price, by TRY 460/mt ($10/mt) to TRY 19,020/mt ($600/mt) ex-works. Both long product prices include 10 percent VAT.
