Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its official dollar-based rebar and wire rod prices by another $15/mt today, May 12, against the backdrop of the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar and the unclear financial situation in the country. The mill has increased its official rebar price on lira basis today by TRY 330/mt to TRY 15,800/mt ($685/mt) ex-works. The supplier has also raised its wire rod price by TRY 330/mt to TRY 16,030/mt ($695/mt) ex-works. The mill has set its exchange rate at $1 = TRY 19.55 for today’s pricing.
