Turkey’s Icdas raises its longs prices in local currency

Today, November 5, Turkish mill Icdas has raised its rebar price by TRY 90/mt to TRY 8,630/mt ($750/mt) ex-works, due to the currency fluctuations since the middle of the week. The exchange rate was at $1 = TRY 9.65 on Wednesday, November 3.

The supplier has also issued its official wire rod price at TRY 9,780/mt ($850/mt) ex-works today, up by TRY 100/mt over the same period. The supplier has kept its official dollar-based longs prices stable since Monday, October 25.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 9.75
