Turkey’s Icdas raises its longs prices further

Today, December 7, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its longs prices as compared to Monday, December 4, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and costlier import scrap and billet. The mill has hiked its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 360/mt to TRY 19,420/mt ($610/mt) ex-works. The supplier has also raised its wire rod price, by TRY 360/mt to TRY 20,055/mt ($630/mt) ex-works. Both long product prices include 10 percent VAT and indicate a $10/mt increase on US dollar basis.
