Turkey’s Icdas raises its longs prices further

Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has increased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 490/mt to TRY 16,180/mt ($730/mt) ex-works, amid the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment, as compared to Monday, January 2. The supplier has also hiked its wire rod price by TRY 485/mt to TRY 16,620/mt ($750/mt) ex-works over the same period. On US dollar basis, both product prices indicate a $20/mt increase.
