Turkey’s Icdas raises its longs prices by $10/mt

Today, June 14, Turkish steel producer Icdas has raised its local rebar price by TRY 60/mt ($10/mt) compared to the end of last week to TRY 7,200/mt ($730/mt) ex-works. Sources report that demand has been improving locally and, in addition, Turkish mills have been active in the export market too. The situation in the import scrap segment remains uncertain while expectations are mixed for now, SteelOrbis understands.

The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,190/mt ex-works, up by TRY 60/mt ($10/mt), with the US dollar price at $830/mt ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
