Turkey’s Icdas raises its longs price in local currency

Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its longs prices in the local currency due to the fragile economic situation in Turkey and the ongoing depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar, while no dollar-based prices have been issued. The mill has today raised its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 360/mt to TRY 14,970/mt ex-works. The supplier has also increased its wire rod price by TRY 355/mt to TRY 15,185/mt ex-works. Both longs prices include nine percent VAT.
