Today, April 21, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has issued its official rebar price at TRY 23,530/mt ($560/mt) ex-works. The supplier has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 23,740/mt ($565/mt) ex-works. Both prices include 10 percent VAT. Both rebar and wire rod prices indicate a $35/mt decrease compared to Thursday, March 20, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations and the sharp decline in the import scrap segment.
The workable rebar price in the Marmara and Izmir region has varied at $535-560/mt ex-works so far.
