Turkey’s Icdas raises its dollar-based longs prices as week begins

Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has revised its longs prices over the past week against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment. The mill has raised its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 660/mt to TRY 17,590/mt ($590/mt) ex-works. The supplier has also increased its wire rod price by TRY 660/mt to TRY 17,885/mt ($600/mt) ex-works. Both long product prices include 10 percent VAT and indicate a $20/mt increase on US dollar basis.
