Turkey’s Icdas longs prices increase in local currency

Today, June 25, Turkish steel producer Icdas has raised its local rebar price by TRY 60/mt to TRY 7,480/mt ex-works to offset the currency fluctuations seen since June 23. The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,500/mt ex-works, up by TRY 70/mt over the same period. The producer’s rebar and wire rod prices have remained stable on US dollar basis for two weeks in a row.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
