Turkey’s Icdas keeps its dollar-based longs prices stable

Today, August 22, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 135/mt to TRY 14,335/mt (670/mt) ex-works compared to Monday, August 15, in order to offset currency fluctuations. The supplier has also increased its wire rod price by TRY 140/mt to TRY 14,975/mt ($700/mt) ex-works. On US dollar basis, both long product prices have remained unchanged over the same period. Sources report, the workable rebar price is around $660/mt ex-works in the Marmara region.
