Turkey’s Icdas keeps its dollar-based longs prices

Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its longs prices in the local currency amid the ongoing depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. The mill has increased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 725/mt to TRY 15,250/mt ($650/mt) ex-works compared to Monday, May 29. The supplier has also raised its wire rod price by TRY 730/mt to TRY 15,480/mt ($660/mt) ex-works. Both longs prices include nine percent VAT and are stable on US dollar basis over the same period. The mill has set its own exchange rate at $1 = TRY 21.52 today.
