Turkey’s Icdas increases its longs prices once again

Today, March 3, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its official rebar price by TRY 895/mt to TRY 14,370/mt ($860/mt) ex-works amid the positive sentiment in the import scrap and billet segments amid ongoing currency fluctuations. The exchange rate was at $1 = TRY 14.06 yesterday. The supplier has also raised its wire rod price by TRY 900/mt to TRY 15,540/mt ($930/mt) ex-works. Both prices indicate a $50/mt increase on US dollar basis.
