Turkey’s Icdas increases its longs prices further

Today, October 14, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its official rebar price by TRY 170/mt to TRY 7,800/mt ($720/mt) ex-works against the backdrop of currency fluctuations and the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment. The exchange rate was at $1 = TRY 9.039 yesterday.

The supplier has also issued its official wire rod price at TRY 8,880/mt ($820/mt) ex-works today, up by TRY 240/mt. The supplier has further increased its rebar and wire rod prices on US dollar basis by $5/mt and $10/mt, respectively.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
