Turkey’s Icdas decreases its longs prices by $10/mt

Today, August 1, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has decreased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 200/mt to TRY 13,335/mt (630/mt) ex-works compared to Wednesday, July 27, against the backdrop of currency fluctuations and the negative mood in the import scrap segment. The supplier has also cut its wire rod price by TRY 195/mt to TRY 14,185/mt ($670/mt) ex-works. On US dollar basis, both product prices indicate a $10/mt decrease. Currently, most mills are offering rebar at $625/mt ex-works in the Marmara region.
