Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has cut its dollar-based longs prices by $10/mt amid the negative sentiment in the import billet segment, currency fluctuations, and the sluggish demand in the domestic market. The mill has decreased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 135/mt to TRY 16,680/mt ($740/mt) ex-works, as compared to Monday, March 20. The supplier has also cut its wire rod price by TRY 135/mt to TRY 17,130/mt ($760/mt) ex-works over the same period.
