Today, April 13, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has issued its official rebar price at TRY 30,010/mt ($610/mt) ex-works, while also issuing its wire rod price at TRY 30,745/mt ($625/mt) ex-works, with decreases of around TRY 410/mt ($10/mt) compared to April 6. Both prices include 10 percent VAT. The main reasons for the price decreases are sluggish demand and the ongoing currency fluctuations.
The workable rebar prices in the Marmara and Izmir regions currently vary at $595-610/mt ex-works, also down by $10/mt over the same period.
