Turkey’s Icdas cuts its long prices sharply

Today, April 18, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has decreased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 420/mt to TRY 16,250/mt ($940/mt) ex-works compared to the end of last week amid the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment. The supplier has also cut its wire rod price by TRY 335/mt to TRY 17,805/mt ($1,030/mt) ex-works. On US dollar basis, the producer has cut its rebar price by $25/mt and its wire rod price by $20/mt.
